Jack Kirby was responsible for many of the most awe inspiring comic characters. While he created loads of Earthbound heroes, some of his best beloved creations were simply Cosmic!
One overlooked Kirby creation is The Eternals. First created in the 70s, this group was composed of super beings that were thousands of years old, each possessing incredible power. It was the kind of team that just oozed “Kirby Crackle”. All of which brings us to the only man who could take such characters and do them Justice.
Neil Gaiman is best remembered for his run on a comic that also featured characters who were thousands of years old and possessing of immense power. It was called Sandman and he did okay with that one.
Featuring art by John Romita Jr., The Eternals returns the Kirby creation to the present Marvel Universe. As Graphic Novel of the Month, Ground Zero is offering The Eternals in hardcover at the super special price of $14.99.
