Save On Gameplay by Donating Food Items!

For the entire month of December, Ground Zero is offering you a chance to be charitable and save on organized gameplay at the same time!
For every canned food item you bring to Ground Zero, you can save one dollar off the entry fee for any tournament. This is cumulative – so if you bring 15 cans of food to a booster draft with a fifteen dollar entry fee, you can play for FREE!

Now, you can bring any unopened food item, such as canned fruit or vegetables, evaporated milk, corn meal as long as the item is within its expiration date. Items must be canned – no glass containers please.

Any of those items will work, but if you want to go the extra mile and bring the items most needed by the food bank, their list includes:

  • Canned meat or fish (ham, Spam, pork, tuna, salmon)
  • Canned vegetables & fruits (all sizes & kinds)
  • Canned juices
  • Canned or packaged meats (mac and cheese, chili, stews, soups, pasta, peanut butter-plastic jar only)

So whether you bring a single item to save a buck, or a whole bunch of items to play for free, this is a chance to save and help out the hungry in East Texas. We’ll offer this for the entire month of December, so come play and help out at the same time!
