Final standings for the December 21st Pairs Tournament:
Our first ever Pairs tournament was a lot of fun. It saw one team end a match with over 1000 life points and even our reigning champions get beat in three turns. Jason Barnes and Phillip Shoemaker won the whole thing with a combination of decks that pretty much denied everything.

Final standings for the November 24th Extended Tournament:
It was a pretty wimpy turnout for the Highlander Tournament. It's a shame, too, because the Highlander format provided for some really interesting decks. In the end it was Jason and Jeff squarinig off for the final. Jason's five color control cecks won out over Jeffs red burn and stomp deck.

November 2nd Type 1 Tournament: Final Standings
Rick Green finally makes it into the final four. With the other three being regulars in the finals, the competion was stiff. Ultimately Rick and Jason Barnes faced off for the final prize. Jason pulled it out with a Morphling Deck, getting the Morphling out on the third turn. Now all three Greens have made it to the finals and placed 2nd at least once. Now all that remains is the complete championship.

Final standings for the October 19th Extended Tournament:
Several new faces in the final four this time. Bobby Ward too first and Randy Green took second and neither had placed in the top four before this tounament. This was that last Extended Format that included the Ice Age Block and the Mirage Block. The attendance was farily low for this tournament, but with the weather dismal and the Rose Parade scheduled for the same day (the parade was cancelled due to bad weather), a light turn out was expected.

October 5th Booster Draft Standings:
Once again the final four was a very familar group, with Phillip, Jason, Jonathan and Jeff. With Phillip and Jason squaring off in the final round, it was Deja Vu all over again. Jason pulled the win out. Although the crowd was one of our smallest, the draft went smoothly and everyone seems excited about Onslaught.

Although Phillip and Jason made it to the semi finals, both were eliminated in the semi-final round. That left Matthew Blizzard and Randall Giles to square off for the championship. Randall took his first tourney win with a Green Stompy deck that defeated Matthews Ghoul Deck in two straight games.

September 7th Type 2 Tournament:
A new dynasty begins!
Two wins in a row for Jason Barnes. Is this a portent of things to come. Can anyone else knock these guys out of the top spot? Will anyone even want to play Type II when the Invasion Block drops out?

August 24th: Extended Tournament:
Somebody else wins!
After a string of three victories, Phillip Shoemaker finally relinquished the top spot to Jason Barnes. Is this the end of the Shoemaker Dynasty? Could we now be seeing more competition for our tournaments? Or is it just a fluke? An off day caused by a nasty paper cut distraction?

August 10th: Sealed Deck Tournament:
Phillip Shoemaker is now the winner of three of our last four tounaments. Considering the only tournament that he didn't win was the one that he judged, he now seems to be the player to beat. Jason Barnes placed second (as he did in our first tournament) and handed Phillip a rare loss. Jeff Green and Randall Giles have placed high in every tournament that they have played in, so we'll see how the competition shakes down over the next couple of tournaments,
