Ground Zero’s New Location

Comics, Games, Supplies, T-Shirts, Action Figures… Ground Zero had pretty much everything except enough space to display it all. Not that the old Ground Zero was small by most measures – it was 2600 square feet. But we had SOOOO much stuff, and our gaming community needed more room, so a move was inevitable.

But this time we made it easy, folks! We found a perfect spot withing our very same shopping center: 6300 square feet. Plenty of room with even some room to grow!

We’re really proud of our new space and hope you’ve had a chance to see it for yourself. But if you haven’t, here’s a quick look at the new Ground Zero.

How could we not start with a “Before” pic? Actually, this is after the carpet was laid down and the walls painted our signature yellow. Doesn’t seem like the size of the place quite comes through, though.

And this would be the “After”! Thsi size comes through much better when you see just how much product we crammed into it, but even that is deceptive, as we now have room to grow (i.e. cram MORE product into the store!)

Just to your left as you enter is the Action Figure and novelty section. Lots more room means we finally have the room to properly display all those figures we have been storing.

The Command Center!  This is the central counter area where most people will make their purchases. We also display high end statues and other items there as well as store comics for our Saver Customers.

After Action Figures, the next area is reserved for T-Shirts along the wall and back issue comics across the center of the store. We have a huge selection of back issues spread across three separate sections.

The back half of the store is all Games, with product along the back wall and side and tables in the middle for Gaming Tournaments and events.

One of the most visited and vital areas of the store in our Card Games and supplies area. This includes cardboard storage boxes, sleeves and other accessories.

The remainder of our Games Area – mostly this section includes boxed board games – everything from Arkham Horror to Luxx.

On the other side of the Board Games display is our Miniature Games section. This section features two large tables for in store play and a large selection of Warhammer and Warhammer 40,000 product.

It’s all waiting for you inside our spiffy new locaton, and even though we’re still in the same shopping center, we’re now easier to find! Just look for the big sign right between Brookshire’s Grocery and Rent-A-Center.
